How much does it cost to remove permanent makeup or microblading?
On average, 2–4 sessions are required to remove permanent makeup from eyebrows, eyelids, or lips. A small tattoo can be removed in 2–3 sessions. The number of removal sessions varies depending on the amount, density, and depth of the implanted pigments, as well as the type and condition of the skin and the presence of scar tissue or fibrosis.
Experienced PigmentOff users can give you an estimate of the number of removal sessions (and the associated costs) based on photos. However, to predict the cost of removal more accurately, an in-person assessment of the pigmentation or tattoo is necessary. For this reason, we recommend scheduling a consultation with a practitioner of your choice.
Example from daily practice:
Removal of permanent eyebrow makeup following an attempted laser removal. Results after 3 treatments.
Total cost: 350 euros, including care products
Microblading removal is a sensitive issue and depends on many factors. Often, the skin is scarred after failed microblading treatments, and the skin structure is altered, causing the pigments to become trapped in clusters of connective tissue. Depending on the extent of the skin damage and the number of previous microblading sessions, one to five or six removal treatments with “PigmentOff” remover may be necessary.
Example from daily practice:
Removal of fresh microblading from eyebrows. Results of one treatment.
Total cost: 200 euros, including aftercare products
Such cases are not uncommon either. Unfortunately, we regularly see the results of completely unprofessional tattooing, permanent makeup, and microblading procedures. The main problem with such work is that the pigments are deposited too deeply, often accompanied by scarring or fibrosis. Such skin conditions make removal more difficult.
More sessions are required, the skin condition must be taken into account, skin regeneration takes longer, and requires more care and additional treatments to improve the skin’s texture. Accordingly, the cost of such tattoo removal is higher, and the process takes longer than when removing professional pigmentation.
