Proper aftercare following the remover treatment

There is one thing you must absolutely understand and keep in mind: Approximately 50% of the treatment’s success depends on following the aftercare instructions below. Your cooperation is not only desired but absolutely essential! Failure to follow these instructions can lead to inflammation and scarring, as well as slowed healing and regeneration of the treated skin.

For this purpose, we have developed a range of coordinated skincare products, which you can obtain from us or your esthetician:

Day 1 (immediately after treatment)

  • protect the treated area from dust and dirt;
  • be sure to avoid contact with clothing or fabric;
  • apply Skin Protective Liquid 1️⃣ to clean cotton pads;
  • gently dab any lymph fluid that may seep out;
  • apply a thin layer of Skin Repair Gel 2️⃣ before going to bed.

Days 2 through 4

  • gently clean the treated areas with Skin Protective Liquid 1️⃣ as needed;
  • apply a thin layer of Skin Repair Gel 2️⃣ 2–3 times a day;
  • DO NOT apply any other ointments or creams!
  • if the treated area swells (especially in the morning), taking decongestants (e.g., Arnica D12 globules or bromelain tablets) is recommended.

Starting on day 5

  • apply Skin Saver Cream 3️⃣ very thinly 2–6 times a day;
  • under no circumstances should the scab that forms be removed, soaked, rubbed off, or scraped away! It must fall off on its own;
  • if necessary, also massage in Scar Free Gel 4️⃣ twice a day (as a preventive measure against scarring or to treat existing scars).

Additional information

  • Please use only the skincare products provided by us, as these are specifically formulated for the unique requirements of laser treatment.
  • After laser treatment on the lips, you may experience a herpes outbreak. If you are prone to herpes, appropriate preventive measures should be taken.
  • For 14 days after the treatment, you should avoid swimming, bathing, sun exposure, tanning beds, saunas, or facial treatments involving steam.
  • Do not undergo any peels, dermabrasions, massages, or skin-lightening treatments in the treated area for the next 30 days.
  • Until the scab falls off, do not apply concealer, makeup, powder, or similar products to the treated area. Otherwise, severe inflammation may occur.
  • After the scab falls off, the skin underneath often appears reddish. This redness is a normal part of the regeneration process and is completely normal. The skin will return to its normal color within a few weeks. It is important to continue using Skin Saver Cream 3️⃣ and ScarFree Gel 4️⃣ during this phase to optimally support skin renewal.
  • You must wait 4–6 weeks before your next treatment.
